Small Business Grant Opportunity – $30,000 in Available Funding
The Brown County Economic Development Corporation, with support from the Duke Energy Foundation, is offering $30,000 in grant funding to help small businesses in Brown County grow, revitalize their spaces, and continue contributing to the success of our local economy.
Grants ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 will be awarded to support projects that improve business operations, enhance the customer experience, and strengthen the workforce. Eligible uses include:

Modifying or improving your physical space

Investing in technology to expand online sales

Adding outdoor seating, takeout windows, or fixtures for public health compliance

Storefront beautification such as exterior paint, signage, awnings, or planters

Workforce development needs like recruiter services, paid job listings, leadership training, or tuition for skills programs
Please note: Salaries and incentive pay are not eligible expenses.
