Small Business Grant Opportunity – $30,000 in Available Funding

The Brown County Economic Development Corporation, with support from the Duke Energy Foundation, is offering $30,000 in grant funding to help small businesses in Brown County grow, revitalize their spaces, and continue contributing to the success of our local economy.

Grants ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 will be awarded to support projects that improve business operations, enhance the customer experience, and strengthen the workforce. Eligible uses include:

• Modifying or improving your physical space

• Investing in technology to expand online sales

• Adding outdoor seating, takeout windows, or fixtures for public health compliance

• Storefront beautification such as exterior paint, signage, awnings, or planters

• Workforce development needs like recruiter services, paid job listings, leadership training, or tuition for skills programs

Please note: Salaries and incentive pay are not eligible expenses.
